FIRST Robotics Animation and Competition

In 2011 I was the Driver of the Robot for Team Dave from Waterloo in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). This was our first year in FIRST, and at the Waterloo Regional, Team Dave won the Rookie Inspiration Award.

And here is an animation of the robot I made in grade 12 as an animation project. All parts on the animated robot and field are made entirely myself, and the layout of the electronics on the robot was mostly from memory. Some difficulties I had were translating the measurements from the parts on the robot into Maya, and measuring complex parts. I am very pleased with the result.
